Cut scenes are a good way to get things across
to the player that you can’t through gameplay, so things like the characters
personality and there Mannerisms. You can also get a better sense of the
situation because you see what kind of emotional and mental state they are in,
like if they are panicking you know it is probably a pretty serious problem and
so on.
